Gaining online authority on any domain online, takes time, specially if the domain is not niche. User experience plays a big role. Websites/portals are often developed without taking scalability factor into account. So as the website grows, the performance level drops. Switching to a new platform is not always an easy option to embrace, specially if you are still at a startup phase.
